Mickey H. Laniado brings over a decade of experience in financial services, helping families, entrepreneurs, executives, and professionals gain clarity, confidence, and control over their financial futures. As a Financial Advisor with Planning Alliance and Director of Life and Disability Insurance with UCEF Insurance Agency, LLC.—a member firm of the Planning Alliance network—Mickey’s mission is simple: to make financial planning feel less overwhelming and more empowering.
His approach goes beyond traditional planning, focusing on key pillars often overlooked—protection, liquidity, tax efficiency, and long-term legacy planning. Whether working with young families just getting organized or multigenerational business owners navigating complex transitions, Mickey is known for meeting clients where they are and guiding them with thoughtful, values-based strategies.
Mickey began his career interning at Fogel Neale Partners, LLC. and MetLife before co-founding Swish Basketball. He joined Planning Alliance in 2014 and took on his current director role at UCEF in 2018. He’s a perennial qualifier for the industry’s prestigious Million Dollar Round Table® and Guardian’s Leaders Club and is a published voice on insurance planning strategies.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business, Management, and Finance from Brooklyn College, earned his FSCP® designation from The American College of Financial Services, and maintains Series 7 and 66 licenses.
Mickey lives in Brooklyn, NY, with his wife, Inez, and their four children. When he’s not advising clients, you can find him active in his community, coaching little league, or fanatically watching his New York Knicks!
