Matthew Derby is a Financial Advisor with Planning Alliance. Matthew’s mission is to support families, young professionals, and business owners grow, protect, and preserve their wealth.
Matthew started his career at Planning Alliance in October 2024. Prior to Planning Alliance, he worked and mentored at a wealth management firm where he gained great technical experience in financial planning and investment management.
Matthew attended the University of New Hampshire and graduated with a dual major in Financial and Entrepreneurial studies. He also has his life and health insurance producer licenses, SIE, Series 7 and 66.
When he’s not working, Matthew enjoys playing golf and watching hockey, especially the Washington Capitals. Throughout his entire life, Matthew played hockey and played junior hockey for three years before going to college. Matthew also enjoys spending time with his dogs, Ovi and Gretzky.
